Senior Full Stack Developer

Here at AFH we are going through a period of growth. We are looking to grow our developer team with a Senior Full Stack Developer. With knowledge in C#, Azure and frontend frameworks such as React. Our ideal candidate will have experience in developing and deploying robust applications.

As our Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing and deploying cloud-based applications using C# and Azure Functions.
  • Implementing AI-driven features to enhance user experience and automate processes.
  • Remaining hands-on in the development lifecycle:
    • Working on API integrations with third party services and back-office systems
    • Working closely with wider development team
    • Bug fixes, investigation of issues / troubleshooting and routine software updates
    • Supporting front end development where required
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver innovative software solutions.
  • Working with developers to create automations to support source code checking with continuous integration, automated test tool configuration, automated deployment and proactive environment monitoring & management.
  • Building and implementing new development tools and instilling best practice around ways of working.

What we are looking for in our ideal Senior Software Developer:

  • Experience in software development with a focus on C# and Azure Functions, .Net Core.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and clean code approach
  • Experience with web technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, Umbraco (desirable), and SharePoint.
  • Proven experience of using REST APIs
  • Knowledge of SQL, Git Bash, SSMS, MS Build, XML, JSON, Postman
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and state management libraries, testing frameworks such as Jest/Vitest and contributing to UI design systems
  • Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS/SASS, HTML5
